Settled in Ungava district of Quebec for the past 50 years, we have been providing World Class, fly-in Salmon fly fishing trips to sportsmen from around the world. Flowing for more than 560 km towards the Ungava Bay, the George River was traveled, more than 5000 years ago, by the first nations to reach caribou hunting grounds. It has, since then, been the host of many pages of history; ancient aboriginal tribes, famous wilderness expeditions, anthropological studies, breathtaking sceneries, fishing and hunting adventures…those are only a few of the unique distinctions that made of the George River a world renowned heritage site.
Our log cabin lodge is the pride of our organization. Located on the edge of the tree line, where the boreal forest meets the arctic tundra. Devoting to small groups, our first-class facility offers you all the comfort and privacy of a luxurious hotel as well as some of the best salmon fishing.
Our log guest cabins are comfortable, and set-up to accommodate couples, singles, or double occupancy. Each cabin has its own private bathroom luggage storage, bathing towels & fine linen bed sheets. Rustically furnished, while providing great comfort.
The lodge could easily welcome 12 fishing guests at the same time, but we only allow 7 rods per week to keep it more intimate and limit the fishing pressure.
The lodge features a fully equipped commercial kitchen, vast dining rooms, a waders room, a fly tying corner, and an inviting living room overlooking the river. This area is quite popular for evening cocktails, or simply to relax with a good book, before retiring to your cabin.
