CARIBOU HUNT – AUGUST 22-28
First of all, THANK YOU to EVERYONE at NORPAQ.
The trip was outstanding for myself and my 15 and 17-year-old sons. Our guide Perry worked very hard and was a pleasure to be with, and really took care of us. Perry was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and a great guy to be around. The other guides James, Henry and Bret were also outstanding.
The cook Lily was incredible, her meals were fit for a king. She was always making sure everything was just right, and believe me it was.
The facilities were great, equipment was in very good shape, making a stay in the tundra very, very pleasant.
The whole staff worked great together and made this trip a trip of a lifetime for us. We each took 2 very nice bulls and brought back so many great memories.
My 2 sons and I definitely want to do it again and so do the other 5 hunters that were in the camp with us.
THANK YOU AGAIN

Bow Hunting Trip
I went with Norpaq the third week of August. Gerry was the camp manager. I just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the caribou hunt. This was my first hunt for caribou and I really enjoyed it.
The first day I was able to shoot a beautiful Pope and Young bull and on the third day I tagged a second Pope and Young class bull at a range of 5 yards with a bow it was such a rush.
My father shot a nice bull the first day and was able to take a Pope and Young class bull at a range of 3 yards with a bow on the forth day of the hunt.
To top off the hunting we had an excellent guide and a very good cook. The trip was great. My father and I both came home with four great looking caribou and memories to last a lifetime I would highly recommend hunting with BOWHUNTING CANADA to anyone.
Thank you for everything.

During the week of 9/2/04
9/9/04
my 13-year-old son Benjamin and I hunted Caribou with your organization.
I would first like to complement all persons involved with Norpaq.
Everyone was pleasant, courteous, professional and just
plain nice.
My son and I arrived in camp full of excitement with dreams of
adventure. This hunt far surpassed my hopes and expectations. It
was truly outstanding.
With any experience, there will always be certain people who stand
out. The two individuals that we would like to highlight are the
camp cook Lily and our guide James.
During this trip my son had his 14th birthday. Lily baked an incredible
cake for him with a candle. He almost cried. Lily prepared wonderful
food, incredible snacks and has a charming personality. Even beyond
this, she takes care of each person in every way possible. Upon
our leaving, my son gave her a hug. She was like mom 350 miles from
home. What more could I possibly say ?
Now to our guide James, my son and I felt truly blessed to have
James as our guide. He has incredible knowledge, composure, desire,
whit, stamina, etc. James is absolutely tops. He wanted to make
sure we would be successful during tough weather conditions. He
took us further into the bush - on that day, we saw over 200 Caribou
and my son and I each took incredible bulls. James did this for
us even though he knew he would have to carry the meat out 3
4 miles through swamps, etc. There appears to be no end to James
thoughtfulness and caring. I could never say enough good things
about James. James is a great guide and an even better man.
Once again thank you so much for a great adventure. We will be
back.
Sincerely,
David W. Aigler, PA

Fantastic hunting trip
2004 early in season !
My husband, Peter Kerwin and his sons, just got back from the caribou
trip. You must tell Pierre that my boys just absolutely loved it !!!
They said they were «in awe» of Goose. (My oldest,
Art, said Goose was just like superman, a man of steel !!)
Peter isn't one to gush on and on, so I wanted to be sure to pass
along that they had the adventure of a lifetime. Thank you so much
for your efficiency and planning. It was picture perfect from every
aspect, and my guys really appreciated and respected the people
they met.
It's not too often that teenagers marvel at the world and admire
its people. But after this trip, they truly believe that Canada
is a great and fantastic miracle from God.
Sincerely,
Gina Kerwin

The fishing was in general
spectacular and truly exceeded my expectations. I would describe the
catch as 300 fish, averaging over 2 pds, my largest being a 5-pounder.
The food was very good and plentiful and the noon meal of brook trout
on the river was awesome. A BIG tanks for some wonderful memories.

I had a wonderful trip at
Châteauguay camps this past week : the logistic, travel arrangements
and flights, camp accommodations and food were very good.
I caught some truly beautiful brook trout, the biggest being 21 inches.
I caught many fish exceeding 18 inches and these surpassed my previous
experiences with brook trout on a fly rod.
I also caught a 31-inch-lake trout that took me well into my fly line
backing and forced me to run downstream 150 yards before I could land
it !

next couple of years. Our thanks to Pollyanne, the cook, Tom Anderson,

BLACK BEAR HUNT ON THE
GEORGE !
Mr. Remle and his wife left from Montreal to Schefferville early morning
on the 27th of August. Then they were flown to the Main Lodge. He
hardly took time to undo his luggage that he left hunting. By the
end of the day, his hunt was done !!!
This destination is situated North East from Schefferville - very
productive area. This is our best destination for a wonderful combination
