Norpaq has explored, over the years, a lot of virgin territories in the North and has identified prime sites for brook trout fishing. With nothing to envy to any
destination in the world, these sites offer wading paradises where action is omnipresent. Norpaq's policy of mandatory catch and release in its fishing organization
is your guarantee to an unforgettable experience. Brook trout is present in most of our sites but the Châteauguay River is, without any doubt, the place to go
for trophy brook trout fishing. |

The lake trout is all over the lakes and rivers in Quebec's High North, most of the time, in very respectable sizes. What is particular with our lake trout is that
we flyfish for it! You read it ok !! Especially at the beginning and at the end of the season, it is not rare to catch them on the fly, while they hunt for brook
trout in the shallow waters of our rivers. Of course, all our sites will provide you with very good lake trout fishing but the Châteauguay camps, the Loudin camps
and the Great Indian House lake camps will give you world class action with trophies up to 30 pounds. |

For most of the fishermen, it is The King of fish. Norpaq offers Atlantic Salmon fishing on the George River. The salmon is renowned around the word for being
a fierce fighter, most probably because of the quality of the George River environment such as cold water and absence of pollution.More than 40 pools on a 25
mile stretch of river. No crowds, lots of action guaranteed. |
 |

Ducks (up to six different kinds) and Canadian geese are also present in all our sites. This is a challenging complement to your visit. The only precaution is to
get your specific license in Schefferville before you go in the bush. |

Ptarmigan is very abundant all over Ungava. It's a beautiful bird, funny to hunt with a small caliber shot gun (.20 or .410), and absolutely delicious to eat.
Ptarmigan hunting has always been considered as the "ice cream on the cake" for our caribou hunters but it is growing more and more in popularity up to the
point of bringing bird hunters with their own dogs. |
 |

Master of the tundra, the caribou migrates year round over Ungava and it does so without following the same patterns from one year to another.
Thus, Norpaq established a very efficient system with more than 20 sites located all over the territory. This way, your chances to get a nice trophy is enhanced.
For Norpaq, fair chase hunting is the only way to go and this system allows our clients to be very successful. An unforgettable hunting experience. |

Black bear is not the primary concern of our visitors when they come up North. But the black bear is there and well established, especially around the
George River area. Our specimens are big in the north and they are not very shy! We hunt them in their natural habitat, without bait. This hunt is really
something and it is without any charge, except the license. A very much appreciated complement for a lot of our clients! |
